..is probably the baby changings facility on Gatwick Airport. I had to clean the mattress and the bins were … well.. you can see for yourself… Overflowing.

Naar aanleiding van mijn klacht kreeg ik de volgende brief:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your feedback. I was very concerned to learn of the unfavourable impression you have been left with after your recent journey through Gatwick airport.
I have raised your complaint with our Facilities Team who have investigated this matter with our cleaning contractor Mitie and have asked me to pass on their sincere apologies to you for the poor standard of cleanliness in this facility.
Mitie have recently changed suppliers for their disposal equipment and collection of these bins. It appears that until now these bins were not collected on a Saturday night and unfortunately what you encountered was the end result. Mitie have been told that this is not acceptable and advised that these bins need to be emptied on a daily, if not hourly basis. This facility will be closely monitored by both Mitie and our own Facilities Team to ensure that the standard of cleanliness remains at an acceptable level.
I would like to thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
I sincerely hope that any future journeys through Gatwick are considerably more enjoyable and trouble free.
